Machine Shop Intern - (Summer 2026) Johnson Controls Federal Systems invites you to apply for a position in our internship program at our Grantley Plant located in York, PA. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives that are consistent with your career goals and current level of education. Johnson Controls Navy Systems is located in York, Pennsylvania. We are a DOD facility and sole supplier of Water-cooled Chillers for the U.S. Navy. Chillers vary in weight from 11 – 35 Tons. Whether it is a Submarine, Aircraft Carrier, or Destroyer, their purpose is to keep systems such as weaponry and radar at operating temperatures. These units are deemed critical components, failure of which would jeopardize the success of the ship’s mission.
