College: SOWELA Department: Academic Affairs: Sub department: School of Transportation & Applied Technology Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Adjunct Duties and Responsibilities: • Teaches assigned welding technology courses, and associated labs in accordance with the college’s workload policy. Required Education : • Welding Technical Diploma. Required Experience : • 3 years of related industry experience is preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrated proficiency in performing SMAW 6G pipe and GMAW/FCAW/GTAW 6G pipe welds and demonstrate the ability to teach this information to students using current pedological practices.
