Construction Safety Engineer/Manager

Job description

Responsibilities Assist in creating, communicating, and enforcing corporate safety policies and procedures. Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate and participate in subcontractor Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings. Review subcontractor Site-Specific Safety Programs and Job Hazard Analyses prior to mobilization. Conduct routine site evaluations, identify safety deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions. Support the investigation of incidents using root cause analysis techniques and assist in developing preventive measures. Monitor and review subcontractor safety training documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements. Attend and review subcontractor Tool Box Talks to ensure safety awareness and proper documentation. Perform regular site audits and inspections to proactively identify hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
