Description SUMMARY: - Oversee production groups to insure that: set ups, machine operation, tools and equipment such as stamping presses, saws, press brakes, lasers, CNC’s, powder coating operations, assembly operations, and welding operations are functioning in a safe, efficient manner in order to produce quality product on time. This position may require overtime to include weekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. - Attends daily production meeting(s) to obtain production schedule and priority. - Assigns workers to various stations in the department based on production schedule and production needs. - Ensures employees are trained and jobs are set up to begin working. Troubleshoot production quality problems as needed. - Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and accommodate drop-in orders. - Audits shipments for next day, ensures product is labeled correctly. Corrects labor and inventory errors as needed. Fills in for operators when absent.
