Description We are a from scratch bakery and seeking a morning baker to work the below schedule: Sunday and Monday 4am - 12pm Tuesday: 4am - 8am This position pays between $18 per hour. Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of baking duties and assists with the preparation of breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, cakes, doughnuts, and other pastries. Duties and Responsibilities: Position Responsibilities a. Ability to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, rolls and/or other baked goods, including icing and frostings, according to established recipes. b. Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards. c. Knowledge of care of culinary equipment, supplies, and materials. d. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards. General Responsibilities: a. Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake and to assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities. b. Spreads or sprinkles a range of various toppings on specialty bakes items. c. Shapes dough for cookies, pies, and other pastries either by hand or by using dough rollers and cookie cutters. d.
