Job description

The Division of Hematology and Oncology is seeking an APP to join their multidisciplinary team at Chesterfield Pavilion, a new ambulatory practice site opening in the near future. Successful candidates will demonstrate a high level of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of a plan of care and exhibit independent clinical judgment. This position serves as a clinical resource to health care teams inside and outside of VCU Medical Center, providing care coordination, outreach, and education. Collaboration with other team members in clinical research is also a part of this role. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP- NP, PA) provides high-quality medical and/or surgical patient care. This position provides care to patients with acute and chronic complaints in collaboration with the Attending Physician. The Advanced Practice Provider provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or preventive healthcare service on a Collaborative APP/Physician team.
