Job Description: The Community and Employer Engagement Specialist is responsible for creating and supporting awareness of WorkConnect services to employers and community organizations. The Community and Employer Engagement Specialist helps the community access services through the referral process, promoting local job creation and labour market development and develops partnerships to meet the diverse needs of individuals, employers, and the community. The Community and Employer Engagement Specialist monitors local labour market demand and development, and acts as a bridge for this information back to the team. This role actively ensures WorkConnect Employment Services contributes to an inclusive and progressive economy by helping employers and communities develop a strong workforce.
