Major Job Functions The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Perform all routine procedures designated within the MRI Section of Radiology Department Demonstrates competency and efficiency in the treatment, care of and interaction with all patients of any age to include neo-natal, newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics Responsible for assessing and clearing the patient for MRI safety Reviews the physician order or patient chart for appropriate order, diagnosis and physicians signature Confirms the signed Patient MRI Interview Form Prepares the patient for the procedure, answers any questions or refers questions to the radiologist assigned Responsible for beginning and ending the pro...
