Summary Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Technician Supervisor is responsible supervising professional and technical staff in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Education: CPhT certified technician strongly desired. If not at hire, then within 2 years. Bachelor degree preferred. Certification, Registration & Licensure: Must be registered in NH; CPhT within 2 years. Experience: Pharmacy technician experience preferred; May consider a candidate without technician experience if other history of personnel management experience is strong. Responsibilities: Supervises the distributive functions of the pharmacy. Supervises interactions between pharmacy personnel and other hospital departments, patients, and the public to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Manages personnel issues including hiring, training, staffing, competency, retention, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Performs or supervises scheduling of all technical staff.
