We are currently seeking a Plasma Melter at our Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. As a Melter, you are an integral part of a successful team responsible for manufacturing titanium electrodes primarily used in the aerospace industry. During the melting process, you will set up and operate our Plasma Melt Furnace while working in a controlled environment and rotating to the production floor every few hours to do general maintenance activities. During furnace turnaround, you will spend 2 days rebuilding components, cleaning and preparing melting hearths, and performing normal operating maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, dependability, analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and flexibility in a changing environment.
