JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team. Business Title: General Production FLSA Classification: Hourly: Level: O2: Reports to: Supervisor and/or Manager: Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm; Overtime may be required Summary / Objective: Responsible of Grading, Building, Cutting, Repairing, Painting, Buffing, Wrapping and/or Packaging. Essential functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. - Measure, cut and prepare material to build interior doors. - Assemble doors following the design specification. - Able to use hand tools such as hand sander to perform repairs. - Able to paint, buff, wrap and pack doors. - Inspect and perform quality verification and take the necessary actions. - Meet production standards. - Maintain the area, equipment and machinery in a clean, orderly, and operational condition. - Conforms with safety regulations per plant policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
