ARES is seeking an Advanced Safety Engineer. Come support the Missile Defense Agency at Dahlgren, VA, and Huntsville, AL locations as we develop, test, and field an integrated Missile Defense System! Provide high quality, professional services for Agency-wide Safety as directed by the MDA Quality, Safety & Mission Assurance. MDA established the QS organization to perform a continuous assessment of the engineering, technology, processes, production, and programmatic practices used to develop and operate the Missile Defense System such that high risk attributes can be identified and addressed to increase confidence in achieving mission success while ensuring personnel safety. This position will provide technical and program management support for the QS directorate at the Program and Project Safety Programs. Our team will combine engineering knowledge of missile defense and complex aerospace systems with knowledge of safety process to ensure a string technical evaluate and execution of these critical US assets.
