ABOUT THIS POSITION: We are looking for an outstanding, brilliant, and driven Application Engineer to join our growing Advanced R & D team. In this mission critical role, the Application Engineer will design, build, and implement amazing web applications and back-end services for our internal customers. They will also have the opportunity to work with cloud-based components and generative AI services on the Google platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Designs/develops/tests/implements improvements or new features in our core code deployment tools and supporting applications, based on the functional and technical specifications Designs/develops/tests/implements new features using the Google Cloud Platform Designs/develops/tests/implements new services that interact with various generative AI models hosted on Google Cloud and on-premises Responsible for adhering to coding standards and the approved technologies Unit tests all changes on development, and then works with the appropriate Business and/or Technology Owner(s) to ensure that the developed solution meets the business requirements Communicates development progress daily to the senior-level team members Attends to any work items assigned...
