Job description

The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Analyst develops plans, executes and tests the availability and recovery of business processes. This role requires understanding of both technical solutions and business functions. The BC/DR Analyst must understand business goals and strategy, along with operational requirements in a fast-paced environment. The BC/DR Analyst supports continuous changes to the business to ensure critical processes are identified and prioritized according to business needs. The Analyst acts a liaison to business stakeholders to understand their strategy and execution outlook. The BC/DR Analyst embodies a strong work ethic and demonstrates analytical and critical thinking. The role must coordinate with diverse business units to ensure recovery objectives are achievable. Strong listening and communication skills, the ability to work well with business units and reasonable technical expertise are all expected. The BC/DR Analyst will work in tandem with business units to include risk and business impact assessments, along with recovery time and point objectives.
