Job description

Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot all aspects of mechanical drilling equipment. - Responsible for ensuring all rig Mechanical equipment is installed and functioning correctly. - Commission and function test new system installations. - Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical rig equipment on existing rigs. - Train rig personnel on operation/maintenance on various mechanical rig equipment. - Create spare parts inventory list to support rig. - Document and record part serial numbers and asset numbers to be compiled in a master database for asset tracking for the project. - Work closely with rig personnel and clients to insure customer satisfaction with rig. - Coordinate with the office new installations and additional equipment installations to existing jobs. - Supervise team of 3rd party welders and service technicians from 3rd party electrical providers. - Design basic mechanical drives. - Provide detailed reports. - Other duties as assigned. - High school diploma or equivalent. - 5 - 7 years of related experience. - Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling rig equipment. - Knowledge of mechanical equipment and troubleshooting. - Basic knowledge to read drawings, schematics...
