Description The University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Division of Physiatry, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a neuromuscular physiatrist to join our faculty. This will be a full-time academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure due to source of funding, which is typical of ranked faculty appointments within the department. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate and full professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 .
