I. Position Purpose This position works as part of a team to provide all landscaping services for the St. George campus. This position also is responsible for all maintenance of parish grounds. This includes the church grounds, cemetery, school grounds, pre-school, and rectory. II. Accountability: This position is accountable to the Director of Grounds and Director of Administration III. Major Duties: This position of Grounds Assistant collaborates with the Director of Grounds and other members of the grounds crew in implementation of the mission of the parish. This is accomplished by direct responsibility for the following: ◦ Maintaining all grounds at St. George ◦ Responsible for repair and maintenance of all outdoor areas on campus. ◦ Keeping all grounds equipment repaired and in good mechanical condition ◦ Weekly care of the Maintenance of all flower beds, shrubs, and trees ◦ Assures that grounds are kept clean and free of any safety hazards.
