Position Summary: The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), seeks a Medical Physicist to join our expanding Radiation Oncology Department. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at our Froedtert Campus . We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. Position Highlights: P rovide medical physics service for patients treated with radiation therapy and develop technology and method to improve effectiveness of radiation treatment. Calibration and maintenance of radiation treatment planning and delivery equipment consistent with national protocols. Establish and conduct a quality assurance program consistent with national protocols. Providing clinical physics support in routine radiation therapy clinic, including support of treatment planning, treatment delivery, and special procedures such as brachytherapy, stereotactic radiation therapy, total body irradiation.
