Position Function: This position will provide intermittent assistance to conference and events team and/or management at the Riley Center in Meridian. Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year. Salary Grade : UC: For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: The Mississippi State University Riley Center is a Performing Arts and Conference Center that opened in 2006 in Meridian, Mississippi. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Must be able to regularly lift and transport equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. *Assist the Events Manager and team with on-site setup for Riley Center events. *Ensure that all setups are accurate according to provided layout diagrams. *Conduct setup evaluations with Events Manager upon completion of duties. *Help to ensure that all event setup times are met according to weekly schedule. *Follow proper procedures to ensure personal safety and the security of the v...
