Compensation: $48,007 - $60,008 Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Regular Grade: Position Summary The Advisor is a professional who provides guidance, advice, and expertise in a specific field or industry-related to a student's course work at CNM and other institutions. The Advisor helps promote the mission of the college, encouraging academic achievement, and providing support to students in making informed educational decisions. Advisors specialize in several areas such as financial planning, career development, academic advising, legal matters, or business strategy. You will collaborate with multiple programs aimed at enhancing CNM enrollment, student retention, and success and undertakes responsibilities that directly impact enrollment, persistence, retention, and graduation rates. The Advisor plays a role in student retention efforts by identifying at-risk students, providing interventions, and connecting students with support services to address academic and personal challenges.
