Job description

This position is part time, nights at Bloomington Hospital. Responsible for the cardiac monitoring of patients, including those with technological support (i.e., pacemakers, AICD). Documents change in rhythm and reports these changes according to established protocol. Responsible for the completion of 12-lead Electrocardiograms if needed by the department’s workloads. Responsible for initiating, registering, and administering Zio XT/AT monitors on patients queued for discharge. Practical working knowledge of a technical or specialty area. Performs all standard and some technical aspects of the work group. Learns and applies new information readily in tasks / area of work. Works closely with leaders to learn more complex skills; may provide limited guidance / direction, training, and technical assistance to entry level employees. Demonstrates enthusiasm and desire to advance in the organization. #LI-Onsite - Requires high school graduate or equivalent.
