Deputy Program Manager

Job description

SMX is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join the integrated program management office (PMO) in a leadership position supporting multiple contracts, task orders/projects, and will serve as a liaison with government points of contact. The ideal candidate will assist the program leadership team with staffing, training, administrative oversight, operations management, and collaborate with multiple technical teams to achieve the overall mission objectives. This position requires a DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Assists with coordination of priorities and resources between multiple projects. - Reports status, develops program/project-related documentation, implements lessons learned, and updates and maintains production and quality metrics for assigned programs and projects. - Supports business development activities, including new market capture opportunities and proposal development. - Supports operational planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program that requires collaboration with customers to identify new project opportunities. - Supports the orchestration/develo...
