Application Deadline: 06/25/2026 Address: 320 S Canal Street Job Family Group: Capital Mrkts Sales & Service Position Overview: The Managing Director of Private Equity is a senior member of BMO’s Community Capital Solutions (CCS) team, which invests the Bank’s balance sheet in Private Equity Funds with a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) license from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The private equity funds are managed by financial sponsors that invest in lower middle market companies across the United States. The Managing Director leads day‑to‑day value creation on a portfolio of LP investments, drives portfolio‑level performance, and mentors junior team members while partnering closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders at BMO Commercial, BMO Capital Markets and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Governance. All investments support BMO's CRA objectives. The Managing Director fosters a culture aligned to BMO purpose, values and strategy and role models BMO values and behaviors in all that they do.
