Outpatient - Clinician

Job description

Responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of mental health issues in an outpatient clinic setting. Work requires the ability to prepare detailed assessment of patient referrals and provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal, quality services to clients. Responsible for completion of client medical records, in compliance with regulatory standards. Develops discharge plans and linkages aimed to encourage functioning within the community. Will participate in staff meetings, trainings, in-services and supervision. Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Master’s degree in social work, psychology or closely related field, Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Licensure required commensurate to degree as required by the State of New Jersey. Proficiency of Microsoft Office.
