Title: Physician Assistant - Transplant Surgery, Outpatient Clinic Location: Upper East Side: Org Unit: Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Work Days: Monday-Friday: Weekly Hours: 35.00: Exemption Status: Exempt: Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $146,700.00: *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary: The Division of Transplant Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant for the outpatient clinic to provide patient care post-transplant. The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for the clinical practice of medicine within the designated specialty, working in collaboration with a supervising physician and in accordance with an established delineation of privileges. Within their scope of practice, the PA will independently and collaboratively function as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) which includes but is not limited to obtaining history and physical exam, determining differential diagnosis, evaluating and managing of acute/chronic medical complaints and conditions, and determining the need for therapeutic/diagnostic tests and procedures.
