Locations: Blacksburg, VA: Additional Locations: NA: Work Site: On Site: Req ID: 224341: Position Overview: Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a full-time entry to junior-level Technician to join our Assessment and Remediation Team in the Southwest Virginia Office. We are looking for a motivated team player that will provide field and office support on petroleum cleanup sites, brownfield assessments, roadway expansion projects, and commercial real estate transaction due diligence tasks. Job Duties: Responsibilities will include performing field activities (e.g., site visits, sampling, inspections) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) that will include hard hat, vest, gloves, steel-toed boots, and eye protection, and at times may require half-face or full-face respirators. Additional responsibilities will include task management, analysis and interpretation of analytical results and field-collected data, working on assignments with project managers and fellow team members, and coordinating with various subject matter experts.
