Job description

The Logistician Analyst/Supply Technician provides intermediate-level logistics and supply support within a government environment. This position is responsible for executing and maintaining a defined area of supply and inventory operations, including property accountability, system processing, and material coordination. Work is performed with minimal supervision, requiring prior experience with Navy logistics systems and property accountability procedures. This role includes functional responsibility for accuracy and execution within an assigned area but does not include formal supervisory duties. Property Accountability (Primary Functional Area Ownership) - Execute and maintain government property accountability in accordance with NAVSUP P-723 and NAVSUP P-485. - Process property transactions including receipts, transfers, and excess actions within approved systems. - Generate and validate documentation such as Line Item Receiving Reports (LIRRs). - Perform routine audits and reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records. - Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies within assigned functional area.
