Civil Project Engineer | Pierre, SD IMEG is hiring a Civil Project Engineer in Pierre, SD, to lead low- to moderate-complexity civil site design projects and support larger, high-complexity project delivery alongside senior staff. You’ll provide engineering solutions and advice to clients—supporting analysis, design, field inspections, reports, permit applications, and site drainage/grading designs—while working within project budgets and collaborating across teams. Principal Responsibilities: - Lead design efforts for civil site design projects (commercial, residential, and industrial) - Develop detailed designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software and tools per code requirements and IMEG standards - Complete and oversee permit applications with the project team, client, and reviewing jurisdictions - Perform surface modeling, watershed modeling, storm sewer design, and sanitary sewer design - Support projects through bidding and construction administration - Partner with clients to gather requirements, communicate technical information, and maintain strong working relationships - Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objecti...
