Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Ambulatory Care Services at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH Staff Assistant 2 / OPD Registrar. The successful candidate will: - Interview and verify patient demographic and financial information for input into the hospital Eagle system. - Utilize the EMEVs and Relay insurance verification system to verify coverage. - Have patients completely fill out financial screening forms including patient’s signature. - Have patients sign the consents, financial agreement form, HIPPA form, Patient Agreement, and other forms. - Scan documents (Insurance Cards, Photo ID’s Consent, HIPAA, Healthix, Referral/Consult and other medical documentation to...
