Maintenance Technician, 3rd shift

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs, including but not limited to, the material handling/conveyor and part removal systems, mill drives and press bases. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to, the following: - Follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools. - Troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery & equipment, e.g., mills, presses, conveyors, etc. Use the following equipment safely: - Hand tools - Hand and Surface grinders - Wheel Puller - Torches - Pipe Threader - Hydraulic Jacks - Welders - Scissor Lift - Lathe - Forklift - Milling Machine - Drill Presses - Work in a safe manner provide constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility. - Perform preventive maintenance and provide input on updates to preventive maintenance schedules. - Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system. - Engage with o...
