Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant House Manager ensures that patrons are safe and satisfied with their experience and works to support the smooth operation of house staff. The Assistant House Manager is responsible for the maintenance and management of equipment to ensure a successful and safe event. The Assistant House Manager represents Arts & Culture, ensuring a welcoming & inclusive theatre environment for all patrons and volunteers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of closely related customer service experience. Theater or venue experience a plus.Preference will be given to applicants with prior supervisory experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons while enforcing all venue policies. - Aid our patrons with accessibility needs. i.e., wheelchair assistance, ALD distribution, bariatric/in-fill chair placement. - Oversee and mentor volunteer ushers to ensure they are successfully completing all assigned duties. - Responsible for on-site equipment, troubleshooting as needed. - Responsible for program/playbill distribution and organization. - Monitor physical surroundings prior to and throughout events for safety, cleanlin...
