EH&S Specialist -Onsite Martin, TN, USA: The Job: As an EHS Specialist, you’ll be part of our Environmental Health & Safety team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to: Work with the workers’ compensation provider to assist with the administration of WC claims process. - Provide industrial athletic and ergonomic training. - Manage and administer employee health programs and health testing. - Ensure the plant’s compliance with State and Federal regulations and procedures concerning environment, health, and safety. - Coordinates and facilitates the activities of EH&S Committees and Staff. - Conduct individual and group training sessions on Environmental/Safety for all employees to upgrade and/or develop new skills. - Works with safety consultants, vendors, and other technical, educational, and governmental agencies to secure educational support and resource personnel needed for approved compliance programs, i.e., State & Federal Safety/Environmental, EH&S Guidelines. - Participates in root cause analysis and recommends changes & improvements. - Performs Job Safety Analysis and other EHS projects/initiatives. - Ensure compliance, follow up, and close out to internal and externa...
