(This position will support a Hybrid Office Schedule in Farmington Hills, MI) Your Contribution: As a Manager and Head of BU2 NA Customer Quality/Warranty reporting to the Head of Quality – BU2, you will be responsible to manage BU2 NA region Warranty management systems, including evaluation of product field performance, customer warranty debits, product field/warranty cost improvement and customer warranty interface. Coordination with Plants and Engineering on field issue resolution and improvement. Management of the Significant Quality Issue/Top Quality Issue for BU2 NA. This role is responsible to: - Manage product field performance (warranty) issues. - Review of customer debits for approval or dispute. - Continuous improvement of warranty systems and product field performance. - Provide field failure prevention input to Product Engineering and Process Planning. - Negotiate warranty debits and technical factors with Customers. - Review new or updated Customer Warranty Agreements and escalate when terms are not acceptable to MAHLE. - Manage multiple high profile, high-cost potential issues simultaneously. - Provide logical and data-based problem solving of warranty/field issues....
