As a Security Officer you will provide resource and security services for Federal Government accounts. This position ensures adherence to federal regulations and internal policies, protecting sensitive data and preserving operational security. Due to security requirements, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be considered for this role What You’ll Do | Your day to day will consist of Conduct personnel security clearance functions, ensuring all Optus people and contractors have the necessary clearances. Coordinate client mandatory training compliance, ensuring all required training is completed on time. Validate and approve access to client-managed facilities, managing building passes and Data Centre access. Generate and maintain regular reports on clearance status and training compliance, bringing up issues to management and clients as needed.
