Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology: Location: Rochester General Hospital: Schedule: Tues - Fri 8:30 am - 7 am SUMMARY: As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality greatly enhance the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT-guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs. Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts. Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock, and prepare rooms. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
