AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic, detail‑oriented self‑starter to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida as a Transportation Roadway Engineer, supporting the Florida Department of Transportation District Two, General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Program, working as an "extension of staff" in the client’s ‘office. Your role: - Responsible for the development of roadway plan efforts and report preparation for in-house projects ranging from minor intersection improvements to major reconstruction projects. This may include significant coordination with internal and external design support staff, client staff and local governing agencies. - Participates in the production of in‑house traffic design, signing and pavement markings. - Performs and reviews engineering construction cost estimates using FDOT Long-Range Estimate (LRE) software system. - Prepares, Reads, Interprets, and reviews plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates for major transportation projects. - Performs designs utilizing CAD and proficiency in OpenRoads. - Position does require...
