Title: Summer Enrichment Camp Teacher Division: Provost's Office: Department: Pott College of Science, Engineering, & Education FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Range: $12.00/hour: EEO Job Group: 2 C8: Position Summary: The University of Southern Indiana is seeking part-time Summer Enrichment Camp (SEC) Teachers. SECamp takes place from June through July and includes crafts, games, and enrichment experiences for children in the categories of art, science, fitness, technology and more! This position will provide a quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum for each assigned child while maintaining a warm, secure environment for the children, staff, and parents. Some positions may work up to one week after camp ends. Duties/Responsibilities: - Adhere to applicable regulations, standards, and USI policies and maintain a classroom environment in accordance with these expectations. - Assist in preparing and implementing creative and age-appropriate activities for the children. - Assist in maintaining classroom management using appropriate, positive methods. - Review the campers’ “special needs list” and any staff or parent notes to ensure special needs are met (allergies, medical co...
