Introduction to the job We are seeking a FinOps Engineer to join our Digital Foundation Solutions Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) US team. This role is pivotal in enhancing business value by ensuring efficient and transparent cloud financial operations for both public and private cloud. You will be responsible for driving financial accountability, cost transparency and cloud resource optimization across our organization. Working cross functionally with technical, financial and business stakeholders, you will ensure cloud costs are managed effectively while supporting strategic decision making. Role and responsibilities: - Manage hybrid cloud spend in relation to life cycle management for private cloud and workload management for public cloud. - Manage Flexera access as the cloud cost monitoring tool ensuring cloud cost data accuracy allocated at billing data, and workload level. - Provide Cloud usage optimization recommendation based on data insights and best practices to enable workload teams to implement cost saving measures and operational improvements. - Deliver monthly reporting and dashboards displaying cloud cost, utilization and performance metrics to stakeholders. - Deve...
