Eligibility for the post-basic training education is prioritized to applicants with approximately one year recent acute medical/surgical experience upon high acuity program full-time start date. BCIT High Acuity Nursing Specialty Program Online Theory (if required): Sept. 8 - Nov. 27, 2026 BCIT Workshop Day: Oct. 22, 2026 Full-time training at BCIT & practicum locations: Jan. 18 - Mar. 10, 2027 *course dates will be modified based on previous courses completed.
