This post is open to substantive Sergeants and Sergeants who are suitably qualified and supported for temporary promotion to either Acting or Temporary Detective Inspector, depending on qualifications. The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit is a collaborative multi agency covert response to tackle serious and organised crime across the North West Region. This is an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join the Intelligence and Harm Reduction portfolio at North West Organised Crime Unit working in a challenging but rewarding environment to enhance law enforcement response to serious organised criminality. The objective of the role is to promote and sustain close working relationships within NWROCU capabilities; ensure that the 6 constituent Forces have access to the deployment of specialist capability when needed whilst recording and reflecting relevant demand appropriately.
