R&D HW Technician (m/f/d)

Job description

- Conduct predefined electrical and mechanical measurements on prototypes and trial boards. - Take care of soldering and rework of various hardware prototypes. - Support prototype builds, bring-up, and basic functional testing. - Provide technical support to designers and R&D engineers. - Identify, document, and track design or production issues. - Coordinate with internal departments (hardware, production, quality) and external suppliers. - Support component selection, availability checks, and alternative part selection. - Support engineering change processes and version control. - Support cable qualifications by conducting measurements and documenting results. - Buildup and repair of High-Level Assembly prototypes and beta series. - Order and manage R&D hardware components and consumables. Qualifications: - Technical education or training in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field. - Strong organizational skills - Basic understanding of design and manufacturing processes. - Knowledge of electronic components and datasheets. - Basic Linux and office software know how. - Structured, detail-oriented and hands-on working style. - Business fluent German and fluent Engl...
