Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Shifts Vary - Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL and may require coverage at Plainfield Emergency Center - Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on the weekend. - Hours: Shifts will vary Monday-Friday including weekends but will be mostly evening shifts from 3:00pm -11:30pm and there may be some day shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm. 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday required. What you will do: - Under minimal supervision, provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. - In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therap...
