Position description Group Sourcing is operating in an exciting and dynamic environment which provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain knowledge and expand their career in Procurement. The role of the Buyer is to assist clients across the ESB Group in procuring goods and services between €5k-€300k, achieving best value for money, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, internal procedures and the code of ethics for the governance of state bodies. Key Responsibilities: - Manage tenders and quick quote processes including the tender evaluation process in conjunction with the business and in line with ESB Procedures - Develop close working relationship with internal customers while providing exemplary customer service - Administering a procurement shared mailbox - SAP contract management and SAP SRM administration - Supplier relationship management - Supplier identification & sourcing - Identifying areas for process improvement Experience and Qualifications: Essential: - High levels of commitment, judgement and interpersonal skills are required for the role - Excellent communication skills - Work experience in a business environment - An exc...
