Sales Specialist plans, develops, and implements comprehensive and innovative marketing, public relations, and promotion programs aimed at increasing awareness of the designate service line. The specialist develops profitable business income for the company by maintaining current accounts and securing new business prospects through effective marketing, community service, and soliciting techniques. Job Standards and Performance Expectations: a. Contacts prospective companies to determine client needs, identify decision makers, set appointments and close sales b. Contacts current and prospective clients to market additional healthcare services • Monitors and reports competitor activity including products/services offered, pricing and delivery networks c. Assists the marketing team with development of promotional materials d. Reviews customer surveys and develops specific plans to address any areas of concern e. Maintains a well-organized sales and call plan from the initial prospect inquiry through the assessment of customer’s needs to the procurement stage of profitable business f.
