Job description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, participate in education and outreach initiatives, and contribute to continuous quality and performance improvement within the neurology service. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, academic hospital environment. Clinical Responsibilities: - Serve as consulting neurologist for unassigned and private patients, including initial consults and follow-ups on the medical floor, Neuro/Stroke Unit, and ICU. - Share general neurology call coverage (approximately 1:4 rotation). - Precept the Neurology clinic (1 morning per week) at the DePaul Center. - Collaborate with designated Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) assigned to neurology/stroke. - Manage a private practice office with a mix of subspecialty and general neurology patients. - Participate in ongoing clinical research and clinical trials.
