Field Soils Technician

Job description

Responsibilities include: - Provide grading observations. - Provide compaction testing on soils, aggregates and asphalt. - Provide special inspections per additional inspection certifications in accordance with approved project documents. - Document project grading activities. - Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete and/or grout. Requirements: Required Competencies: - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors and potential clients. - Nuclear gauge usage certification. - ACI Field Technician Grade 1 license. - ICC Soils Inspector License is a plus. - ICC Reinforced Concrete is a plus. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Benefits: Excellent benefits package including medical, dental and 401K Plan.
