Department: SOM KC Cardiovascular Medicine AI Research Position Title: Research Assistant - Cardiovascular Medicine Job Family Group: Professional Staff Job Description Summary: The position entails full time management and coordination of the program for AI & Research in Cardiovascular Medicine. This includes research activities between the different team members, including multiple medical students and KUMC staff members, keeping a tally of day-to-day tasks, keeping research meeting minutes, tracking progress on assignments to different team members, moving the research projects to completion, writing abstracts/manuscripts, manuscript submission process including communicating with journals and timely resubmissions, helping prepare grant applications and applying for extramural funding. Job Description: Job Duties Delegate and coordinate assignments to team members, including medical students and other KUMC staff members. Keep research meeting minutes.
