Description As a Project Specialist, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on projects by updating customers daily, billing out loads, tracking detention, delegating tasks, managing the productivity of your team and contacting brokers. We’re a team at Takkion, so outside of your projects your secondary mission would be to support the transportation operations in any way possible. The Project Specialist reports to the Senior Manager-Transportation. Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of assigned projects. - Bill out loads - Update project spreadsheets - Send out daily update emails regarding loading schedules, detention etc. - Contact brokers to fill future lanes or current holes in lanes - Track detention for current projects - Set up new brokers - Set up new customers - Support daily operations of transportation segment - Improve Project Processes and Procedures - Create and verify route surveys - Write Carrier Methods Statements - Build Trailer Configurations - Support Permit Process Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Engi...
