Job description

Security Agents are responsible for keeping the peace, and protecting the property assets of West Edmonton Mall, as well as identifying and taking action on identified risk management issues. Primary Responsibilities: - Patrolling the internal and external premises of West Edmonton Mall for all types of hazards and/or potentially dangerous situations and follow policies, procedures and protocols that exist to address the hazards or dangerous situation. - Working to prevent crime and disorder from occurring within the boundaries of West Edmonton Mall. - Must have knowledge and understanding of West Edmonton Mall Security Department Policies and Procedures. - Take appropriate action to ensure that traffic flow remains at an acceptable level considering the circumstances. - Engage the guests, tenants and employees of West Edmonton Mall as a security service agent and provide the appropriate level of service that the circumstances dictate. - Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations. - Liaising with the emergency services such as police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain securit...
