The franchisee of this restaurant will be your employer if you are hired and will make all hiring, wage, hour, and other employment-related decisions. Starting Pay Range: $11 - $12 and up Purpose of Job: Assemble and prepare soft serve and DQ Blizzard® cakes and cupcakes according to recipes. Ensure that all cakes meet the Dairy Queen® standards of quality and excellence. Essential Functions: - Prepare cakes according to recipes or special requests by customers. - Properly and safely operate and maintain cake and soft serve equipment while following all health and safety standards. - Maintain an adequate inventory of prepared cake blanks ready to be decorated, including additional production during holidays, national promotions and other peak cake occasions. - Keep cake production area and equipment clean throughout the shift. - Stock items and organize as needed. - Perform other duties as requested by management staff.
